Modern Foreign Language (MFL)
A Modern Foreign Language is compulsory in schools for children in Key Stage 2 (years 3 to 6). At Hawthorn School we choose to study French as our Modern Foreign Language. We want children to enjoy their early years of learning French and the lessons engage pupils in their learning through a range of activities including partner work, games, songs, rhymes and stories.
